Weekly Photo Challenge: Nightime

Night Falls on Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York, USA.

First settled by the Dutch in the 1600’s, Port Richmond is where I live.  Although it’s one of the oldest and poorest communities on Staten Island, it’s not totally uninteresting.  It’s the largest Hispanic community on Staten Island.

  1. I attempted to stroll at night to catch some interesting and uninteresting things to photograph. But night photography is tough. Not just in setting your camera, but also when looking for something to capture. You obviously have made a successful set. I love the first one, esp. the message about art.
